Review Body:[Imported 2026-04-22 from the advisor-ledger community mirror: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/the-hidden-fish/advisor-ledger/main/docs/deduped.html] • 我在UMD做过PhD+一年博后，和Furong合作了许多项目；主观感觉她的知识储备和指导是很有帮助； • 在她的组呢可以静下心做，Furong已经tenure，并没有感觉push，对第一年PhD甚至没有任何pub要求；也可以成为paper machine在毕业的时候有很好的profile（她们组近五年CSRanking的AI方向在UMD排第一） • 算力充足，组内 企业合作都能保证； • 对PhD实习的支持很好（工业界connection充足，去年毕业的去向有OpenAI，Google，Meta已经是一线lab的质量了）；Furong也支持去学术界，他有一个学生应该去了yale做postdoc；她自己的导师在Caltech • 方向支持灵活，组内PhD可以自由选择感兴趣的topic • 缺点：组内人多，因为UMD可以录了以后灵活换导师，所以需要自己push自己；（但是校友网也更大） • 强推！周围的人找不到差评！（需要做TA也是缺点吧）is
